Dr. Miriam Galindo
Dr. Miriam Galindo has worked with at-risk children and families for over 20 years. Dr. Galindo completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Chapman University. She received her Master's Degree in Social Worker from California State University, Long Beach, with an emphasis in Children and Families. Thereafter, she pursued her doctoral degree in Psychology from Trinity College of Graduate Studies. Additionally, Dr. Miriam Galindo is certified and registered as a child play therapist. She also holds a certificate in Paralegal Studies.
Dr. Galindo's clinical experience includes a special focus on assessing and treating abused children. She has worked in a variety of outpatient and inpatient settings, including psychiatric hospitals, clinics, group homes, special education school sites, and private practice. Currently, she shares a private practice with her husband, Jorge F. Galindo, MFT. Both she and her husband provide case management, co-parenting, reunification, and assessment services for children and families of divorce.
